Hello, I’m Pip

I’m an interior designer and project manager based in York. After more than 25 years teaching, I followed my love of interiors — and now design and manage projects right across North Yorkshire, from a single room to a whole house, and for hotels and restaurants too.

Clients often ask me to project manage as well as design, so alongside the drawings and fabrics there is a trusted team of tradespeople who see the work through to the finish.

Common questions

What areas do you cover?

I’m based in York and work across North Yorkshire, including Harrogate, Knaresborough, Helmsley and the surrounding villages. Projects further afield are welcome too.

Do you take on single rooms, or only whole houses?

Both. Projects range from refreshing one room through to a full house refurbishment. The process is the same either way — it simply scales to the size of the job.

Do you work on commercial projects as well as homes?

Yes. Alongside private homes I design for hotels, restaurants and other commercial spaces, where character and durability matter in equal measure.

What happens after I get in touch?

We start with a conversation about the space, how you use it and what you’d like it to become. From there I put together a concept, and once you’re happy with the direction I take care of sourcing and coordinating everything.

Do you manage the work as well as design it?

Yes — project management is part of the service. I coordinate the trades and suppliers so you’re not chasing anyone, and the finished room comes together as planned.
